Full Time Butcher 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a butcher to join the Askerton Castle team. All our meat comes from our farm - beef, lamb/ mutton, pork and chicken - born and raised on the farm.  

This is a full time role - 40 hours a week plus 6 Saturdays a year when selling our produce at Brampton Farmers' market - time off in lieu for the extra Saturday.

The role is varied and interesting and will comprise of working in the on-farm butchery and associated areas, dealing with customers, making abattoir runs and delivering customer orders.  

Enthusiasm for the role and attention to detail are of huge importance and further training can be given when and where needed.

A full UK drivers licence is essential .  20 days holiday (plus bank holidays) per year.  Time off in lieu for market days worked.  Starting pay dependent on experience and if cottage is required.
